The project is to develop a new field of “Art History of the Iberian World,” exploring connections between Spanish Italy and the Iberian Americas in the long sixteenth-century. It will involve a group of twenty scholars and will be structured around a trip to Italy and a week of meetings in NYC. The academic coordinator must reside in the New York area and will work on a part-time basis, ca. 10 hours per week at $40 per hour, for approx. eighteen months (February, 2016 to August, 2017).
